Oh crape! My last night in France!

What a great last night in France!! I am really going to miss it here!! We had crepes for dinner and crepes for dessert!!! It was wonderful!! For dinner they had egg, cheese, and ham! (I think!) and for dinner we had jam or honey or nutella! I got to see Mael's parents who are so so so sweet!!! Her mom is such a sweet lady and she has very good English! And her dads is so nice and has always been a fun person to be around :) I'm so happy I was able to spend some time with them while I was there!! :) anyways, Fred is so good at making crapes, so I had to document it :) these crapes were even better than on the street! (sorry dad, but they were way better than yours - might want to take some notes! ;) haha)

This is after everything is set up!

The work station all prepared and now we are ready to begin!

The crepe master himself, Fred!

Step 1) put oil on the rag and rub it on the black flat frying thing (he pronounced oil as "whil" at first, Mael died laughing - his English is actually pretty good :) everyone has a few words though haha)

Step 2) pour the perfect amount of batter

Step 3) swirl it around with the stick thing!

Oh, the dedication!!

All for the perfect crepe!! :D

Step 4) flip the crepe (harder than you might think...)

Step 5) use the flat wooden thing to flatten out the crepe!

Step 6) take it off and put it under a towel because that makes them nice and soft!

Step 7) chow down!!!

Now it's my turn to try...

He poured the batter for me!

He told me to "caress" it! Haha

I did my best...

Woohoo! I did it...

Well... I kind of did it!!

Second attempt went a bit better!! Lol they ate them still, but I think it was just to make me think I did a good job ;) hahaha

Before we went to bed, Mael put out a little bowl of dog food for the hedgehog... And when we left for the train station at 5:30 - there were two of them!!!!! :D we were almost late because I had to get a picture! Haha
