So Monday I woke up at 7:15 and took the metro to the train station where I was on a train from 8:15 am - 4:00 pm!! When I arrived I didn't understand anything and I was so confused as to where I was! Haha it was an adventure for sure! It took me 30 min just to figure out where to buy my ticker from Paris to Stuttgart!!! But I figured out how to say it in French which was fun :) so after I got my ticket I had to take the metro to a different train station to get a train to Versailles!! Bah! Haha the metro station was the exact opposite of Barcelona! In Barcelona the waiting area is hot but the inside of the metro is cool! In Paris the waiting area is cool but the inside is burning up!! But anyways, I made it to the next train station and then took another 15/30 min to figure out which train I needed to take! But eventually I got on a train and it turned out to be the right one :)
Mael is the lady I am staying with in Versailles. She was our exchange student when she was 16 and now she is married with two kids! Her oldest is the same age as I was when she lived with us! :) they are adorable kids - a girl and a boy. Mono and Valentine :) they don't realize that I can't understand French so they talk to me all the time! I use the only French I really know and tell them "I don't know!" or "I don't understand!" or "I don't speak French, I speak English!" and instead of trying to show me they just talk louder hahaha also, they call me "the friend" because they can't remember my name! So today the little girl told Mael "I like your friend" haha it was cute :) Mael's husband, Fred, is very nice! He works from home and he always talks to me in English, sometimes we don't understand each other, but that makes it funny. :) i can't believe how good their English is! They have the best dog in the world named Sammie! He is SO cute!! And he loves to be pet so if you are standing with your legs even a little bit apart he will run through them to get your attention! I laughed when he first did it and the kids couldn't figure out why I was laughing. Anyways I need to go to sleep because this morning I woke up to a little girl staring at me at 7 am! Lol I reached for my phone and felt a leg! Needless to say it scared me but then I started laughing and they both crawled in bed with me and played with my iPad!
